I'm a man who's made mistakes, plenty of mistakes that I've even often had to wrestle with suicidal thoughts due to the shame that wrong choices bring after we face consequences for our actions. I can't pretend to be the example to follow so as the saying goes, do as I say and not as I do. Today at work I got to encourage a co-worker after she shared about her husband being incarcerated and how she felt about it. She said something that made my spirit feel their despondency as I've had some serious charges brought against me in my past and having an unsure moment as to what's gonna happen in during the time awaiting trial it gets so heavy on ones heart that even leads to moments of hopelessness. She said he was reading his bible and been praising God and this last time she talked to him he was sad saying he didn't wanna die in prison. No.  Love is forever.  Loving as selfless as I can has taught me allot about myself.  Today I am ignored and blamed for whatever outcome we have had to face from our shattered hopes we once shared with one another envisioning a future together. My desires and goals are yet the same though, I wanna see my ex rise up out their challenges even though I can tell my own weren't of any importance to my beloved but it's ok cause God got me.
